Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Vayme ("the Software"), an AI assistant application for macOS and Windows provided by Melvin Kempe, a sole trader (enskild firma) registered in Sweden ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Vayme, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the Software

Vayme provides an AI-powered assistant interface that connects to third-party large language models and related services. You agree to use the Software only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or use Vayme to build a competing product.

2. Token-Based Usage

Vayme operates on a token-based usage model. Each interaction with the AI consumes tokens from your account balance. Tokens can be bought once, or through automatic monthly top-up, which renews until you switch it off — something you can do at any time from inside the app. Tokens do not expire, but they have no cash value and are non-transferable.

3. No Guarantee of Uptime

We provide Vayme on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Software or the third-party services it depends on. We are not liable for downtime, latency, model errors, or service interruptions outside our reasonable control.

4. User Data

Your use of Vayme is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of any content you submit. By using the Software, you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service.

5. Refunds

Token packs are subject to our Refund Policy. Please review it before making a purchase.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Sweden, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
